I grew my passion for helping couples elope and capturing their love in epic places after I eloped in Canada. The experience was more than I could ever put into words and I believe every couple deserves that for their wedding day. A day filled with love and adventure- no stress, no people-pleasing, and no rules.
"We decided to have an impromptu elopement/micro wedding in Sedona and the only thing we really cared about was a great photographer! We found Karen and some of her work on an Arizona elopement group, I reached out to her immediately and within 24 hours we had our photographer booked. She was able to create a timeline for our day and she made sure that all of the shots we wanted we got. She made the day 100% about us, she captured the most intimate moments of us getting ready, the sweetest moments of our ceremony, she even had us have our first dance on the cliffs and the photos were stunning. I can hands down say she made our day perfect. My husband and I both expected a handful of frameable photos and what we got blew our minds we want to display Every. Single. Photo. Karen was so easy to work with and just blended in with our group seamlessly. If you’re in the market to elope I can not say enough good things about her and her work!"
"We had the most amazing, unforgettable, memorable experience with Karen. She has so many skills and talents, is kind, knowledgeable, has great organization skills, and is incredible to work with. Our elopement day was everything we had dreamed it would be (actually, even better) and that is mostly due to Karen's work and experience we had with her. When we received our pictures back, I was speechless. I was in absolute awe. The thing I appreciated the most after receiving the pictures was that Karen captured so many genuine moments. Of course, we had some incredible posed photos, but she included so many in-the-moment, genuine moments of our elopement. I love those pictures because all of the emotions can be seen and felt in those pictures. We will cherish that forever. I am amazed at how much she captured and her ability to capture all of the right moments. If you are thinking of eloping, and thinking of booking Karen, I would not hesitate at all. She is the BEST. I cannot thank Karen enough for making our day special and everything we truly wanted."

When should we book you?
It's best to book your elopement photographer at least 2 months before the date you want to elope. Although, I've had couples book with a month's notice before, my availability is very limited during certain times of the year, so waiting till the last minute may chance losing your date!
Do we need an officiant?
Technically, no. You can totally do the paperwork in your hometown and then have the adventurous elopement experience anywhere. Doing it this way eliminates the stress of coordinating with an extra vendor, finding witnesses, and your ceremony would be even more private! If you're wondering if it'll be awkward- don't worry, I can guide your ceremony while taking your photos! ;)
Do we have to hike?
If hiking isn't your jam- we can definitely look into easier views for your elopement day! I want you two to only do what's authentically you and what you're most comfortable doing. Hiking is definitely not a requirement. Keep in mind that the easier the view is, the more popular it might be.
Do couples hike in their wedding attire?
Sometimes! Whether or not you hike in your wedding attire totally depends on what you're wearing, how difficult the hike is, and your hiking abilities. You will for sure need comfortable hiking shoes either way. Changing when you reach the viewpoint is an option- I have a pop-up tent if you prefer more privacy, but most couple just find a hidden spot where no one can see them to change quick. Especially if they're doing a first look.
Do you have other vendor recommendations?
If you're still searching for an officiant, florals, HMUA, etc. I can definitely help with finding them! In some locations, I may already know of good vendors to work with because I've worked with them in the past. If you're eloping in Sedona, I have a hair and makeup artist and officiant on my team already! Ask about all-inclusive packages!
