Why did you choose to elope?

“We weren’t interested in the big wedding. We just wanted an adventure, exploring a new place and doing something unique that’s all about us.”

How was your elopement?

“It was the best adventure we’ve had! And we got to share it with our siblings, who were beside us on our elopement journey.

Coming from Canada, we were excited to explore Utah, somewhere we had never been. Zion National Park now has a special place in our hearts.

We planned a sunset elopement, so our day started around 4 pm. Karen met us at our hotel and helped to get us organized. We had our ceremony by the river and it was beautiful outside. Sharing our handwritten vows was truly a special moment. Afterward, we celebrated by popping champagne on our deck and had a quick moment to recharge before the next part. We did a short hike to a viewpoint and wow, was the view ever stunning. We loved how the day started off sunny, but a storm rolled in just in time for our photos. The moody sky fit perfectly with our aesthetic and reminded us of our engagement (which was during a thunderstorm).

We ended at the pub and celebrated with a pint, under the twinkling lights.

The day was amazing and we couldn’t have asked for more.”

Do you have any regrets about your elopement?

“None whatsoever. We had a blast on our trip and the wedding day was like something out of a dream. These memories, especially in the photos, will always remind us of one of the best days ever.”

What advice do you have for future couples looking to elope?

“Don’t hesitate, plan the elopement! It will be the best decision you make. Less stress, less money spent, and more time spent together.”
