We started off their Sedona elopement day with an adventure in the dark, hiking to the viewpoint for some engagement photos! They hadn’t had the chance to take photos for their engagement yet, so it was a special way to start the day, AND get more photos documenting a special part of their love story! As the sun came up, we soaked in the dreamy desert views of Arizona and had the best time documenting the early morning of their wedding day. During the session, Lindsey switched to a custom sweater which was SOO adorable!!
Before heading to breakfast, we made a pit stop at Berry Divine for some smoothies, because we had the time and why not! The night before, they had written each other letters to read the morning of their elopement. So, once they sat down with their smoothies, they read their letters from each other and it was so funny that they unintentionally wrote the same exact length of letters! Then we had a midday break and met back up at their room at the Enchantment Resort. Lindsey had her hair and make up done by Hellianna with Red Cheek Beauty and their family helped them both get in their wedding attire.
Cathedral Rock Wedding Ceremony
We ventured out to an easy-to-access ceremony spot with a pretty view of Cathedral Rock and they had their first look. Alex was in shock and they both just couldn’t stop smiling. Their family gathered around to witness them say I do. Happy tears were shed through their vows and sealed with a kiss and then we took photos with their guests. Once their guests headed back to the resort, they had their first dance and we adventured around for some bridal portraits. The whole time they were smiling and just so in love with each other. It was so sweet.
