Brittney and Taylor started their day separately with their families at a beautiful home in Sedona, which they rented from a family friend. The house was big enough for all their guests. Their adorable daughter got ready with the girls and showed off her Paw Patrol toys. Instead of seeing each other before the ceremony, Brittney and Taylor held hands without looking at each other, enjoying their last moments before becoming husband and wife.
The ceremony took place by the pool and patio, with everyone comfortably seated. It was filled with happy tears, laughter, and love. Afterward, we took family photos and then went on a sunset hike, just the three of us.
We hiked to Seven Sacred Pools for their bridal photos and first dance. They spent a lot of time sitting, holding each other, and enjoying the views. The quiet alone time was peaceful and relaxing.
Once the sun set, we brought out lanterns and headed back for a homemade taco dinner with the guests. The dinner made by their family was delicious and just what Brittney needed to end the night perfectly.
Words from the Couples About Their Seven Sacred Pools Elopement
Why did you choose to elope?
“We chose to elope because we wanted to really focus on the things we love and really make our ceremony/adventure about the two of us.”
How was your elopement?
“Our elopement seriously could not have been any more perfect! Since it was a small elopement with just a few close family and friends we were able to really make the entire day about us. From the house that a personal friend let us use to get married to a family member officiating the ceremony. The entire day was very relaxed and exactly what we wanted. Not to mention the amazing photographer we had that captured SO many amazing moments throughout the day and night.”
Do you have any regrets about your elopement?
“My only regret is not eating before the hike.”
What advice do you have for future couples looking to elope?
“Eat before you hike! Don’t chug a bottle of water during the hike lol. I also suggest if you are having family/friends have multiple people look over your list of group pictures to make sure you don’t miss something you wanted and didn’t know.”
