Cassandra and Thomas chose a sunrise desert elopement with a clear vision in mind. They wanted a wedding day that felt calm, present, and reflective of who they are as a couple. By choosing an elopement, they gave themselves the space to slow down, let go of outside expectations, and fully experience the day together.
Their sunrise elopement on Baby Bell was quiet, intentional, and deeply personal, offering a reminder of how powerful a simple and well-planned elopement can be.
Words from the Couple About Their Sunrise Desert Elopement on Baby Bell
Why Did You Choose to Elope?
“We wanted a ceremony that reflected who we are as a couple. No stress, no fuss, or worring about what others want. Too often I hear people say they wished they’d have eloped so they would have been able to actually be present with the one they loved instead of worrying about others. We didn’t want to have that regret. We chose to elope for us and we couldn’t have made a better decision.”
How Was Your Elopement?
“Coming from someone with extreme anxiety, I was incredibly nervous. The nerves were all for nothing as I never once felt pressured or uncomfortable, which says a lot from someone who climbed and scrambled up rocks in a wedding dress! Because we chose to elope, there was no rush or stress throughout the entire ceremony & photography session. For those few hours on Baby Bell, the world drifted away and it was just the two of us. We watched the sun rise in the distance and spent the morning laughing and truly enjoying the entire experience.”
Do You Have Any Regrets About Your Elopement?
“I have absolutely no regrets”
What Advice Do You Have for Future Couples Looking to Elope?
“If your even considering it, do it! I cant express enough about how wonderful it is to actually be able to take in the moment with the one you love without worry or feeling rushed. Eloping made the entire experience so much more romantic and memorable. I would do it all again in a heartbeat.”
Elopement Review
“I can’t say enough wonderful things about how amazing our entire experience was with Karen. We’re from New York state and eloping in an area or state you’ve never been to before can be stressful but Karen was so open and knowledgeable. She had backup plans, was extremely organzied and provided lists of contacts for anything we might have needed while we were there. We’re talking lists for florists, officiants, hair/makeup and information on where to go for our marriage license and what would be needed. She even took the time to explore the spots my husband and I chose for photographs, at the exact time we were to get married, to see how the lighting was. We booked the 4 hour package for our ceremony & photography. For those 4 hours, it truly felt like the world stopped just for the two of us and we were able to be present in the moment with eachother without stress or worrying. If you are even considering eloping, book Karen and go for it! You’ll have an experience of a lifetime. We sure did and we’d do it all over again in a heartbeat.”
A Photographer’s Perspective
Cassandra and Thomas’ elopement is a strong example of what can happen when couples choose a day that prioritizes presence over pressure. Their morning on Baby Bell unfolded slowly and naturally, allowing space for connection, laughter, and stillness.
Elopements like this create room for couples to feel grounded and supported, especially when anxiety or external expectations are removed from the equation. When the focus stays on the experience itself, the result is a day that feels calm, intentional, and genuinely meaningful.
