Why Did You Choose to Elope?

“My parents eloped and they always talked about how it was the best thing they ever did. My mom told me growing up she would “pay us to elope” lol. Angus and I always knew we wanted something different.
Weddings very quickly become about other people and we wanted something special that was really just going to be about us.”

How Was Your Elopement?

“We went for a sunset elopement which honestly made the day very relaxing. We were able to take our time in the morning, get breakfast, relax. No stress. We both got ready and went on an absolute Adventure! We wanted something we could walk into already in our wedding attire and thanks to Karen we already had the perfect spot picked out. A cool off roading trip later and we were walking barefoot on the rocks (me in my wedding dress) in one of the most captivating landscapes we had ever seen. The whole day was just easy. We got to just be together and feel so connected. When I look back at the photos I can almost forget Karen was even there (sorry Karen we love you!)”

Do You Have Any Regrets About Your Elopement?

“Gus says he wishes the grocery store had a better meat and cheese tray. We did have a very sad picnic snack 🤣”

What Advice Do You Have for Future Couples Looking to Elope?

“Don’t hesitate, just do it. You can always have the party later but do something that’s just for the two of you. This was the most meaningful thing we could have done.”

“Karen is the absolute best. From the first planning calls: helping us pick packages, recommending the best location that fit the aesthetic we wanted. Helping us find a court house to get our license, helping to rearranging things for weather. She was incredible and accommodating and if there was any anxiety or stress she was hands on in helping fix things and get us back on track. She was apart of every step of our planning and our elopement.

Karen was our planner, our photographer, our officiant and honestly our life saver. She’s so kind, amazing to work with and her photography skills… The photos absolutely blew us away and all we have so far are the sneak peaks! We knew eloping was what we wanted but I don’t think it would have been as amazing as it was if we hadn’t had Karen with us every step of the way.
