Amber and Andrew’s Deadhorse Point Elopement was built around the kind of experience they value most in their relationship. Because they both love to travel, choosing to elope allowed them to step away from the expectations of a traditional wedding and instead create a day that felt relaxed, personal, and completely their own.
From there, the day unfolded at an easy and natural pace. It began at their Airbnb, where they were able to settle in and start the evening comfortably. Then, as the light shifted, they made their way to a vineyard, which created a seamless transition into the final part of the day. Ultimately, their sunset ceremony at Deadhorse Point gave them the space to slow down, stay present, and fully take in the experience they had planned together.

A Photographer’s Perspective
Amber and Andrew’s elopement is a great example of how an evening timeline can create a calm and comfortable flow from one part of the day to the next. By starting at their Airbnb, they were first able to ease into the experience in a familiar setting, which naturally set the tone for everything that followed.
From there, the stop at the vineyard introduced a change of scenery and allowed for a gradual shift into the ceremony portion of the day. Then, as sunset approached, Deadhorse Point provided the ideal backdrop and a clear sense of arrival. Because each location was intentionally chosen and thoughtfully timed, the entire experience felt cohesive and unhurried.
Ultimately, when couples structure their elopement around what they genuinely enjoy and allow the timeline to support that vision, the result is a wedding day that feels natural, personal, and fully centered on their connection.
